Last updated: September 2026
Set out below is the Cookies Policy governing the website https://www.berry-good.com (hereinafter, the “Website”), owned by Hortifrut Limited, an entity incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ireland, with Company Registration Number 701701 and registered office at Ella House, Suite 40.1, 40 Merrion Square East, Dublin 2, D02 NP96, Ireland (hereinafter, the “Entity” or “Hortifrut”).
Berry Good is a trade mark owned by Hortifrut Limited and does not constitute a separate entity for data protection purposes. The use of cookies on the Website is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Irish ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336/2011), which transpose Directive 2002/58/EC into Irish law.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files downloaded onto users' devices (computers, mobile phones, tablets, etc.) through their browser, in order to store and retrieve information about a user's browsing habits or about their device and, depending on the information they contain and the way the device is used, to recognise the user. Their main purpose is to recognise the user each time they access the Website, and also to improve its quality and offer a better experience of it.
References to cookies in this policy are equally understood to cover other tracking and storage technologies that operate in an equivalent way on the user's device, such as pixels, web beacons, SDKs and browser local storage (local storage and session storage), to which the same prior consent regime described in this policy applies.
2. What types of cookies are there?
Depending on which entity manages the equipment or domain from which the cookies are placed and who processes the data obtained, a distinction can be drawn between:
- First-party cookies: those sent to the user's device from equipment or a domain managed by the Entity and from which the service is provided to the user.
- Third-party cookies: those sent to the user's device that are not managed by the Entity. Depending on how long they remain active on users' devices:
- Session cookies: those designed to collect and store data while the user accesses an application or web page.
- Persistent cookies: those in which the data remains stored on the user's device even after the session has ended, and which may be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie.
Depending on the purpose for which the data obtained is processed, they may be:
- Technical cookies: those that are essential and strictly necessary for the correct operation of the service and for the use of the various options or services offered through it, including those that enable the management and operation of the website and activate its functions and services, such as controlling traffic and data communication or identifying the session.
- Analytics cookies: those that make it possible to count the number of unique visitors and analyse the use of a service in order to measure interest in it or in particular areas of it. They allow the use and behaviour of users on the Website to be analysed.
- Personalisation cookies: those that allow the user to specify or personalise certain features of a service, such as the language.
- Advertising cookies: those that enable the management of advertising space within a service. They store information on user behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of browsing habits, which makes it possible to build a specific profile in order to display advertising based on it.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: those whose function is to store information on the behaviour of the users of a service in order subsequently to display personalised advertising.
Some are essential to the operation of the internet; they do not damage the user's equipment or device and, where they are enabled in the browser settings, they help to identify and resolve possible operating errors on the Website.
3. What types of cookies does this Website use?
Please note that we will only place cookies on your device provided that you have given your consent, through the cookie settings banner made available when you visit our Website.
However, some of the cookies used are necessary to enable browsing on the Website and do not require the user's consent.
The user may refuse non-necessary cookies as easily as they may accept them, from the settings banner itself, and such refusal does not condition access to the Website.

The user is free to decide whether or not non-exempt cookies, that is, those requiring their consent, are placed on their device. The user may change or withdraw their consent at any time by configuring the options in the Settings Panel. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Likewise, the vast majority of browsers allow users to be warned of the presence of cookies or to refuse them automatically. If you refuse them, you may continue to use our Website, although the use of some of its services may be limited and your experience therefore less satisfactory.
If you wish to change your privacy options, follow the instructions given by your browser developer. By way of example, the following addresses are provided:

The user should bear in mind that some features of the content on the Website are only available if the placing of cookies on their device is allowed. If the user decides not to accept or to block certain cookies, depending on their purpose, this may affect the normal operation of the Website in whole or in part, or prevent access to some of its services.
Likewise, if after obtaining your consent there is a change to the Cookies Policy, to the purposes of use or to the third parties involved, we will request your consent again.
5. International data transfers
Please note that some of the personal data obtained through cookies will be subject to international transfers as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), that is, transfers outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we guarantee that the necessary measures will be adopted to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data, in particular by means of adequacy decisions of the European Commission or, failing that, by entering into the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
